Beverage Carton Excellence

Our largely paper-based beverage containers serve as Vitasoy’s main packaging solution, providing lightweight and easy-to-consume options for consumers. Vitasoy’s beverage cartons are made of six layers of materials: 74% paperboard, 22% plastic, and 4% aluminum.

The paperboard used in each Vitasoy beverage carton available globally is made from wood fibers sourced from responsibly managed forests certified in accordance with Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC) standards. This certification ensures our packaging supports sustainable forestry practices and environmental conservation.

Paper Straw Implementation

We are committed to optimizing our products in pursuit of sustainable consumption. In 2021, Vitasoy Singapore replaced plastic straws on 250ml soy drinks with paper straws, moving forward with sustainability and providing consumers an option to adopt a greener lifestyle.

To safeguard and ensure food safety, our paper straws comply with food safety regulations of the European Union (EU) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Studies show that paper straws can be biodegradable and safer for the planet and wildlife, allowing consumers to enjoy the same great taste while moving toward a sustainable future.

Reducing Carbon Footprint

Our sustainability commitment focuses on plant-based nutrition, sustainable packaging, and reducing carbon emissions. Plant-based products offer not only nutritional and health benefits but also a comparatively low carbon footprint and environmental impact, requiring less water and land use compared to animal agriculture.
